杨晓旭，男，1966年出生于内蒙古巴彦淖尔市，现就职于人民银行巴彦淖尔市中心支行。受家庭熏陶，从小酷爱中国传统文化，尤醉心于古代文学及书画艺术。早年由于缺乏老师指点，未能系统学习，练习较少，仅停留于喜欢而已。高中时求学无余时，大学时学习金融，虽平时抽空练习，然一事无成，工作及成家后负累增加，二十余年未动笔。近几年始提笔欲成未竞之好，从中国传统山水画入手，苦学技艺，以古人为师，遍临五代、两宋以来名家名作，对元四家尤有心得，上追董巨，下及明清诸大家，使画技日深。同时收集古人书画论著，校释作注，以期大成。从2009年始，多次参加全国美术大赛获奖。2011年，为纪念辛亥革命100周年，山水作品作为名家作品在英国巡展三月余。此后，为进一步提高，挤出时间潜心学习中国书法，以楷书为基，临习晋唐以来各大家名帖，对魏晋、智永、欧体潜心修习，使书画得以全面提高，书画作品多次参加全国各种重大展览。2018年9月，被评这为国家一级美术师。
